Solana has been gaining popularity recently, and many users want to try to issue their own tokens on the Solana chain. However, issuing tokens requires understanding the relevant code logic, which is a high threshold. GTokenTool implements a visual operation page, which allows users to easily create and manage tokens on Solana. This article will introduce in detail how to create your own Solana token issuance process on GTokenTool in 1 minute.
Prepare equipment, a computer or mobile phone
Install the Phantom wallet plug-in and follow the installation tutorial
Prepare at least 0.13 SOL in your wallet
Coin issuance logo and related information
When issuing Solana coins on mobile phones, use Phantom wallet or OUYi web3 wallet. Do not use TP wallet, as TP cannot transmit logos.
Connect to Phantom Wallet
Open the Solana coin issuance link address: https://sol.gtokentool.com Switch the upper right corner to English, click Connect Wallet, and select your node
After clicking "Connect Wallet", the wallet selection page will pop up. Click Phantom Wallet to connect the wallet. You need to have 0.03 SOL in the wallet for payment.

Fill in the Solana coin issuance related information and upload the LOGO file
After completing the wallet connection, first select the coin issuance mode, and then fill in the Solana coin issuance information, as follows:
Coin name: The name of the coin (such as GTokenTool), which supports English, Chinese, and a mixture of Chinese and English, with a maximum of 15 characters.
Coin abbreviation: The abbreviation of the coin (such as GT), which supports English, Chinese, and a mixture of Chinese and English, with a maximum of 15 characters.
Coin issuance precision: The number of digits of precision for coin issuance. The default value is 9. The precision is related to the maximum total supply you can fill in.
Total Supply: The total supply of issued coins. When the precision is 9, the total supply cannot exceed 10 billion; when the precision is 8, the total supply cannot exceed 100 billion, and so on.
Logo: Solana’s coin avatar, which can be displayed in the wallet as a logo token image (the maximum size of the uploaded image is no more than 100K)
Add optional content
If you want to add contact information, etc., you can click the Optional Content button to expand the Optional Content module

Introduction: No more than 200 Chinese characters or 200 English letters
Tags: Add up to 5 tags. Enter them and click the "Add" button to add tags. You can also delete any tags you think are inappropriate.
Click "Confirm Creation" to create Solana token
After confirming the information, click the "Confirm Creation" button, and then the wallet prompt will pop up. Click "Confirm" to pay the fee to complete the creation.
View Solana’s coin issuance information
After the creation is successful, a prompt box will pop up to prompt the creation is successful and display your coin issuance address
After clicking confirm, you will be directed to the management token list, where you can further manage Solana token issuance.

Under what circumstances are permissions discarded?
A: If you need to add tokens to Raydium, you need to give up the freezing and minting permissions. You can choose to discard the metadata modification permissions. After discarding, the metadata information cannot be modified.
Is there any charge for uploading a logo?
A: No, the platform uses the IPFS storage solution and uploading is free.
If you find that the token logo is missing, it may be because the token does not meet the requirements

Phantom Wallet prioritizes efficiency and resource management, so not all tokens will display their logo, especially if the token is new, has a low TVL, or has a low capitalization.
What is the token symbol?

What is the token accuracy and how to fill it out?
Token precision defines how small the token can be divided into. The maximum precision of SPL tokens is 9, common precision settings are 6 (utility tokens) and 9 (high-precision applications), and 0 precision is usually used for NFTs.
Why should I give up my right to modify metadata?
Giving up the right to modify metadata means that once set, the basic properties of the token (such as name, symbol, image, etc.) cannot be changed. This is often used to enhance the transparency and trust of the project, showing the project's commitment to the token and its future plans.
What is the waiver of freezing rights?
