📌Core Summary: Solana Revoke Token Authority
Functional Positioning: Trust-Building & Decentralization Utility. This tool serves as a professional gateway for project teams to demonstrate long-term commitment and transparency on the Solana network.
Primary Purpose: It enables project managers to permanently renounce specific token rights with zero coding, effectively locking the token configuration to enhance investor confidence.
Core Features:
No-Code Authority Revocation: Easily renounce minting, freezing, or metadata update rights without any programming knowledge.
Investor Trust Enhancement: Provides a verifiable on-chain method to prove project decentralization.
High-Speed Security: Delivers a rapid and secure way to execute permanent authority changes.
Professional Transparency: Offers teams a high-efficiency advantage for establishing community trust during project growth.
Target Audience: Developers and project leads seeking a reliable way to secure their token ecosystem and build community credibility.
After Solana token is created, there will be 3 authorities: Revoke Update Authority, Revoke Freeze Authority and Revoke Mint Authority.
Revoke Update Authority: Revoking update authority means you will not be able to modify the token metadata. It indeed makes investors feel more secure.
Revoke Freeze Authority: Revoking freeze authority removes control over specific account actions. GTokenTool supports markets for tokens with this authority retained.
Revoke Mint Authority: Revoking minting authority is essential for investor security and token success, preventing further token supply.
If the token is issued on GTokenTool and the logo has been uploaded, it will have these three authorities. If the token is issued on other platforms, it may have 2 authorities or 1 authority. Of course, no matter where you create and issue the token, you can revoke the authorities through GTokenTool.
Same operation steps for SPL-Token-2022 and NFT authority waiver.

Select the token you want to update, and click "Permission" to enter the change page.

2. Page Information
Token Model: SPL-Token
Name: GTEST
Supply: 1000

Mint Token: You can mint when you have the right to issue additional tokens. Fill in the minting quantity, click the "Mint" button on the right, and the wallet will pop up and click Confirm. If the supply does not change in time, please refresh the page.

Block: You can freeze any address so that it cannot be transferred or sold. Enter the wallet address and only one address can be entered at a time. Click "Add" on the right to add the wallet address to the blacklist.

Unblock: Enter the previously blacklisted wallet address and only enter one address at a time. Click "Remove" on the right to remove the previously blacklisted wallet.

3. Check Corresponding Authority
If the authority of the token is a button, it means that you have the authority corresponding to the token and you can revoke the authority normally.

If the token authorities show that there is no permission to freeze/mint/update this token, it means that your current wallet address does not have the corresponding authority for this token. Then you cannot revoke the authority and can only operate on the authorities you have.

If the text in the picture below appears among the three authorities, it means that you do not have any authorities for this token.

4. Select the authority you want to revoke
Click the corresponding button, and then click "Confirm". The wallet page will pop up and you will complete the operation of revoking authorities after clicking.

Tip: You need to operate the authority button before clicking the "Confirm" button, otherwise you cannot click the "Confirm" button.
