Last updated 1 month ago

Raydium is a relatively large decentralized exchange on the SOL chain, where anyone can create a liquidity pool. Once the pool is created, it can be traded immediately on the Raydium exchange interface.

  • Note: Before adding Raydium V2 to the pool, you need to give up the blacklist (freeze) permission, otherwise the creation will fail. To give up the permission, please go to the G TOKEN token management page →

The following is a tutorial on how to create liquidity with Raydium V2:

1. Get the OpenBook Market ID

You can create a cheap OpenBook market ID at this link:

Please note that the cost of creating an ID is between 0.55 and 3 sols (each ID can only correspond to one token pair and cannot be reused)

To create an OpenBook Marketplace ID, please visit:

After creating the OpenBook market ID, copy and save it to prepare to add the liquidity pool. If you did not save the ID in time, you can also search for the created hash in the Solana browser and find it in the transaction details:

2. Create Raydium V2 liquidity

After clicking, enter the OpenBook market ID you have obtained

3. Initialize and create a pool

  • Set how many coins and how many SOL tokens to add to the pool.

  • Set the date and time you want the pool to start.

  • Make sure you have enough funds in your wallet for this initial liquidity, then click “Confirm and Initialize Liquidity Pool”.

IMPORTANT: Once you confirm and initialize your pool, you will no longer be able to edit the starting price, liquidity, or start time. Note that the start time is determined by the time on the chain.

  • After clicking Confirm, you will need to approve two separate transactions in your wallet. These transactions will create the pool, create the AMM account and ID, and add liquidity from your wallet. If you do not see one of these transactions, check that your wallet window is not hidden behind the main browser window. If you miss confirming a transaction, the process will fail and you will need to click Confirm again and then re-approve all transactions.

  • After confirming both transactions in your wallet, the new LP will have been created, you will get a new AMM ID, and the pot will be launched at the set launch time.

  • A handling fee of 0.4 SOL is required when creating a pool. Please make sure to reserve enough handling fees and pool fees.

4. Remove liquidity

If you have confirmed that you have added the pool, you can select Liquidity on the Raydium page, and then scroll down the page to see your liquidity.

Click on your liquidity and you will see some options to add liquidity or trade. At this time, please choose to remove liquidity, as follows:

Then fill in the amount of LP you want to remove, click "Remove Liquidity", and after the wallet confirms, you can withdraw it. (If you select MAX, it means withdrawing all)

The above is the complete tutorial about Raydium’s creation of liquidity/adding pools/removing liquidity/withdrawing pools.

Related questions

1. Why did the wallet not respond for half a day after confirmation?

A: The UI page of Raydium V2 has always been laggy, so they launched the V3 version.

2. Can I lock the pool after adding it?

A: There are not many platforms that support pool locking on the Solana chain. The general practice is to burn the pool. Burning the pool is equivalent to 100% permanent pool locking, and the pool cannot be withdrawn anymore.

3. Why can’t I see my liquidity?

A: After Raydium's liquidity is successfully created, it will take some time to be displayed, up to 24 hours. In addition, if you set an opening time, you will not be able to see the liquidity before the opening time arrives.

4. What should I do if the prompt "base token freeze authority enabled" appears when creating a pool?

5. What should I do if the message "base lot size is zero" appears when creating a pool?

A: This prompt means that there is not enough quote tokens (such as sol) in your wallet.

After creating the OpenBook market, go to the Raydium V2 pool page: h Click Connect Wallet in the upper right corner of the page, then select the “Create Pool” button

A: This prompt means that your tokens do not revoke freeze authority. Please go to the to revoke freeze authority. If you do not how to revoke freeze authority, you can click tutorial link: .
